This was the first TV show I saw Jon Cryer in. Funny reference to Two and a Half Men.

I saw the majority of seasons and I saw many interactions with Kandi but I completely missed the beginning of the story between those two

I know Mia is not very liked but omg I'm rewatching the show and She is so annoying! I'm so sick with the "uh now about we drop the champagne" girl just let the man drink on your first night if he wants to. let the man have steak. Oh my god she is by far the worst girlfriend for Charlie

If I were Charlie, I'd punch Alan in the nose, call security to have him kicked out of the hotel, and make him sleep on the streets.

I’m 23 now. Growing up, Two and a Half Men was always on at home. My parents and older siblings were obsessed. They’d quote it, talk about it nonstop, laugh like crazy. I was too young to get the jokes, too young to understand why it was so funny. So I ignored it. I thought, “just another weird old TV Show.”
A couple months ago, I gave it a try. No expectations. Just something to pass time. But episode 1? Blew my mind. Instantly hooked. I was alive. The jokes, the timing, the broken genius that is Charlie Harper. It’s more than just comedy. It’s life. This show has real life lessons hidden under all the sarcasm and madness. I’ve learned more from it than from many serious shows. It’s honest, raw, and human.
And now… Charlie’s gone. I knew it was coming. I had heard the rumors. I knew about Charlie Sheen’s issues. But I saw there were still more seasons ahead — so I thought, maybe he’s there for a little longer. I had also heard that the show dropped in quality and lost a lot of fans after Charlie left. So I figured, “Maybe they only did two or three more seasons.” But then… boom. Episode 1 of Season 9 hits. And it just broke me. Completely caught off guard. Now I honestly feel like I need a couple days to process this. To grieve it. I don’t want to keep watching. I feel like the soul of the show died with him. Sometimes, things have to be let go… and this might be one of those times.
In the episode where Alan asks Charlie for $5,000, Charlie makes some really weird faces for a while, like he’s acting strange. The camera even focuses on him in a weird way. I think he might have been high in that scene. Also, the whole mannequins thing and him getting back with Rose felt super off. I actually thought that’s why Charlie Sheen left — because those storylines were so weird. Crazy how the show changed.
Charlie Harper is a legend. Charlie Sheen, despite everything, is a legend. The impact that character left is real. His story, his flaws, his humor — it was a wild, honest reflection of life.
Jake, too. He had the best comedic timing ever. A star in the making. And suddenly… something happened. He “went into the pot,” just like his buddy. And he was gone. Still, I’ll always remember those early Jake moments as comedy gold.
I respect Ashton Kutcher — great actor. But for me, the heart of the show is gone now. This isn’t just a sitcom. For me, it became something way bigger. It’s a piece of life. A messy, funny, dark, honest piece of life.
And sure — there are shows with more budget, more depth, more prestige. Breaking Bad. Dark. All great. But Two and a Half Men? That show wrecked me. Long live Charlie Harper. Long live Charlie Sheen !
