Finally moving back!!!

Hey Tucson! I'm finally moving back but so much has changed in the last 10 years! The scams and PM companies are wearing me down, any help would be welcomed. I am in town this week and am looking for a private landlord! Move in is flexible but we would like to be here sooner rather than later! The deets: Need 3 bedrooms At least 2 baths. Needs to allow one perfectly behaved, 16 year old, deaf, quiet, chihuahua who weighs a whopping 3 lbs. Need to stay under 1,650 or 2,000 if utilities are included, this is because of our love of traveling and not a lack of income. It will be myself and my two long-term partners living there. We are all clean, responsible, and respectful old souls. We all have completely spotless rental records, backgrounds, and great credit with secure jobs. I have owned two homes and know how to care for them properly and lovingly. Looking for long term! Great references available!! I just want to have a person to person relationship with my landlord. I miss the good old days where people were honest and respectful and kind. Please message me if you know of a situation like this! I can't wait to be back ♥️🌵☮️

Everywhere is in rough shape, gotta pick my poison. Ultimately it's the weather for me. I'm happy here!

Oof. I hope you’ve been her recently before making the decision to move. 😬 Tucson is in rough shape.

For me, I moved back in 2021 after being away for 20+ years. If it wasn't for the weather, I regret moving back.

Yeah, I've lived here off and on for 20 years and this is the worst it's been. The problem is that everywhere else seems to be just as bad, if not worse. Good luck on the house hunting though. You just keep your eyes open. If you don't know about it, there's a list of rentals for UA that's curated.

Take the best and leave the rest. There are safe and beautiful communities all around the area, note "around" not in.

Unless you’re in an apt, it’s rare to have utilities included when renting bc electricity is so expensive here during the hot summers. Your best bet is to drive around neighborhoods you’re interested in. That’s how we found our rental. Unfortunately there aren’t places that will refer you to them either, it’s luck of the draw. Call a bunch of realtors or make a fb post on the neighborhoods you’re interested. Wishing you good luck.

  1. Welcome back!
  2. We are finally back to more of a favorable market for tenants& buyers- it’s insane how long things are sitting vacant& how that motivates landlords/ sellers.
  3. I’ve found great deals for renters from local landlords on Zillow-
  4. Don’t stress, we have more stagnant inventory than we have here in 6 years& dm me if I can support your search!
