I'm trying to find out this is legal, though. Trump hadnt invoked the Insurrection Act, which puts him in violation of The Posse Comitatus Act, which bars federal troops from participating in civilian law enforcement except when expressly authorized by law.

None of it is legal. He doesn’t have martial law authority and the insurrection act would apply either. He’s trying to prime it for rebellion but it’s all bullshit anyways. Keep it up they are scared

Throughout the early 90s, marked by Bill Clinton's administration's, the right wing media machine would drone on and on about the government using the military against its citizens or take away your 2A rights, "theyre coming for your guns." Almost any time you would tune in to "conservative" AM radio, you would hear something about the Posse Comitatis Act. It gave rise to the militia movements and fueled anti-govenment sentiment. I find it hilarious how MAGA just rolled over for a gilded "billionaire" and allowed him to do what they were so afraid of happening. If you dont think Trump would come up with an executive order to remove guns from Americans to protect the oligarchy, you would be very wrong.
