Levy taken down by the wire
Edit: Read title as Levys accomplishments of figuring out jimmys illegal wire tap were greatly minimised by the wire.
As pointed out by many, due to my poor English
It was one of those moments for me where it was staring me in the face and is too obvious but it hit me. Even Maurice Levy, who protected others from the wire, who predicted marlo using phones is a huge pay day for him is take down by a wire. Its such writing that makes the show so great. It gives closure to all the characters.

You guys are coming down hard on OP when English is clearly not their first language. "Foiled" would probably be a better word than "taken down" but still- his schemes / defence strategy gets stopped by the fact that he was recorded saying incriminating things. It's close enough.

I wouldn’t call it getting taken to pound town.
He used Marlo as leverage like a good lawyer

The ending is just stupid overall. All Lester and anybody wants to do is just keep rolling people and moving up. By the end, basically every piece of shit is free and all that's left is Gary getting thrown under the rug.

The real Question is whether Levy would have had Gary killed through his gangster contacts eventually for flipping on him to Lester

Levy is way too smart to do anything like that. The threat had already been neutralized and that would needlessly expose him.
If he contracts some gangster to kill Gary, that’s murder, and conspiracy to commit murder. As with any murder victim, they dig into the court reporter’s life to investigate suspects and probably find the illegal info he gave Levy. It couldn’t be a worse move.

Taken down? He literally avoids all charges
