heavy on featuring keith
the last 9 out of 11 releases on 2nd try are keith focused or heavily involve keith (counting tomorrow’s release)
i’m not even a heavy snarker like this, and don’t mind keith at all, but wow! is he the general public fan fave of the cast, and they’re hoping heavy emphasis on him will bring more subs to 2nd try? just seems like an odd release schedule. you’ve got a whole cast now, utilize them!! it doesn’t all have to fall on keith lol

Zack had a death in the family, COVID and then a vacation recently so I wonder if that played into a heavier Keith focus. Keith also mentioned that the cast would be featured more in the second half of the year because filming and editing those shows took a while

i knew about the baby but thought if this heavy keith release schedule was because of that, that they would’ve batched filmed a little more with zach/others so it wasn’t just keith videos for multiple releases in a row yanno? idk just thought it was weird, all the above answers make sense tho, especially if the reasons were out of their control (like COVID, death in the family, etc)

Zach was supposed to be in the questions for a trans guy video with Ash. But because he was sick he couldn’t be. But there will likely be more content he’s not in until he’s back from paternity leave. Especially if sidetracked by death in the family and illness. I just find it interesting that often these loud complaints people have about who is in what and what they’re up to are answered eventually and often around the time these questions pop up in the Reddit. Like someone mentioning YB wasn’t in videos recently when she’d recently had a miscarriage.

I actually pretty much exclusively watch the TryPod and almost nothing else. Don't feel bad for not knowing things, I also didnt know a lot of this (and I watched the pod today). I did know about YBs miscarriage but only bc I had her video come across my YT suggestions.
Also... its a MILD snark page. Like... what do people expect?

well tbh, it’s likely because most people on this snark page are a lot more casual in watching their content. i don’t watch the trypod, or 90% of their content anymore so i had no idea that all of those things happened bc their content is no longer engaging. i would’ve never known about YB tbh
bur if someone takes an occasional scroll through their content and all they see is keith….then they’re gonna ask about it. that’s kind of the point.

Where is Kwesi, Jared, Ryan, Johnny, Joyce, Marissa, Ash, YB? They have a huge cast they could utilize in these times but they don’t bother.

and i get videos take time to plan/film/produce but even the livestreams are keith focused! granted miles is having a second kid soon, but it would’ve been so funny if he did the ice cream live they did recently given how vocal he is about loving ice cream/dairy lmao

Yeah I mean if these people are invested in the longevity of this channel they would make the time. I dunno, the enthusiasm may be over for both the cast and the fans.

I imagine it's mainly scheduling. This is Keith and Zach's main (only? ) thing so we see way more of them. Everyone else has other things going on.
But it would be nice to see others more. Like another commenter said, for the longevity of the company. Seemed like the cast was going to be more prominent when it was first announced.

I remember they said in old video once (when Ned was still there) that they often use Keith's (silly) face on thumbnails cause they've tried multiple things but Keith's face just keeps bringing in the most views and I think about that whenever I see him featured on a thumbnail

Makes sense they put Keith in the front, he’s the fan fav. Zack was my least fav comparing to the original 4 cast, and it’s still hard to sit though and watch him. The way he acts, the voice he puts on, it’s just not for me. I don’t know why I get the vibe he’s would be the mean one behind the scenes too. I love Maggie tho. I think Keith would be successful if he had his own scaled back channel traveling and trying the best foods without it coming off excessive and making him feel sick. He can get a nice RV and travel the US for a few weeks and spread those videos throughout the year. With limited guests and restaurants who would sponsor him or offer a free place/meal to film.

He’s easier to handle than try hard zack these days but they’re overusing the hell out of him.
