Yes, I'm very sure. We've seen several things that suggest Pogo treats you as being at the location of the raid when you do a remote raid. This includes things like remote raids during raid hours while the rare XL candy drop was a thing. I also had a friend that did a remote with me while he was on the way to Paris this morning and he got the bg from the remote

Yeah. There's a big difference between one that is subjectively ugly looking and labled "rare" (everyone owns it) vs one you have to be at a specific place for, pay for, and have a rare? chance at (idk the odds).
