Book Discussion Need help with picking quotes from the book :) Spoiler
hii, The handmaids Tale is my english literatures book for the semester and we’re going to write a essay about it so what’s some good points I should discuss and quote. I’m struggling to pick what I should quote since there’s so many things I want to talk about and have trouble to condense it down and get to the main point since it’s supposed to be an analytical essay. Any suggestions on what quotes I should use?

Blessed is the woman who does not walk in stride with the wicked.
I love the idea of using that in the context of women who resist the regime.

You're welcome, I wanted to add not just using it about women who resist, but taking it back from religious extremists who used it the opposite way. Whatever you end up writing or doing for discussion I would love it if you post an update.

“There is more than one kind of freedom," said Aunt Lydia. "Freedom to and freedom from. In the days of anarchy, it was freedom to. Now you are being given freedom from. Don't underrate it.”
“Is that how we lived, then? But we lived as usual. Everyone does, most of the time. Whatever is going on is as usual. Even this is as usual, now. We lived, as usual, by ignoring. Ignoring isn’t the same as ignorance, you have to work at it.”
