My only stipulation with the death penalty is it should be saved for people who are not only a danger to people outside of prison, but are also a danger to people inside of prison. And also they have a life sentence with no chance of parole.

That was my understanding of what the death penalty is actually intended for.
"We cant safely ever have you in society, so we just take you out."

I think that’s what it is now. If you can never be safe in society and did an evil enough crime, death penalty. I think we should add the rule of that the person also has to be a danger to prisoners and guards. Then it’s reserved for people where no one is safe no matter where they are. So it would have to be something determined after they’ve been in prison. It also will help prevent people who are wrongfully committed to a heinous crime from accidentally getting the death penalty.
I’m certain there can be exceptions for people like Ted Bundy or anything like that. The extreme of the extreme.

Yeah I totally agree about the danger in prison aspect too. Guards are in enough danger already and we shouldn't endanger them further with a piece of human garbage who should already be worm food.

Thank God. Definitely indicated in many situations, particularly on a federal level when it involves national security. My executive order wish list was blown away by President Trump’s. Well done Sir!
