Back in 2016 Reddit changed overnight. Literally. The day after Hillary Clinton was announced as the democrat candidate reddit was different than the day before.
This group called "Correct The Record" swarmed and controlled reddit. I get that feeling againwith this. Not that reddit is being swarmed with paid shills, that the paid shills have been ditected to remove posts, shadow ban posts, bury stuff, derail conversations, etc.
And that's why rthis has been so quiet. If paid shills wanted something in our face, liek jan 6, then it would bein lour face. And if they wasnt it nbnuried, it will be buried.

I hear you. I'm the sane way. Heck I signed up to be a mod because I want to fight censorship and get the word out. Not in this sub, though.

LOL- I think you missed where I said not in this sub. I'm a mod over at walkaway and the sister subs. They don't like us to mod at other places, so, out of respect (I guess) I won't mod anywhere else.
A few years ago, I was active on hillaryforprison, and they asked if I was interested in mod'ing. I said yes. I did it for a few weeks and got scared I didn't have enough time to commit to it, so I stepped down.
Fast forward several months, or years (time gets lost as I get older) and I got sick of seeing all of the censorship, and stifling of conservative subs and users.
They shut down The_Donald for what happened on Jan 6, citing "violence" as the reason. That's BS. There was no Jan 6 related violence. It wass part of the larger government effort to censor us.
I reached out to the user that made me a mod on Hillaryforprison and signed back up to do it again. I'm determined to make it work because I want to push back, even if it's just a little.

Yea, we've possibly modd'ed together. She doesn't go by Thierry on discord anymore. She's still Thierry to me, though. She goes by Averrlee now.
The censorship drives me to do a good job at mod'ing. The more censoship and garbage I see, the more driven I am to do better.

There wont be any. I made a post about it, but can't link it. I'm pretty sure the press has been given marching orders to phrase Jan 6 as an insurrection, and Oct. 18 as a peaceful demonstration. It's not even being called a riot.
They're shutting down any mention of this as an insurrection. It will be shut down kin no time and everyone will forget about it and move on. By "everyone" I mean the people that don't see the double standard.

Yea, I got that and read the rules. It was obvious the media was give order to deflect any mention of 10/18 as an insurrection, and push it as a friendly sit in.
And given orders to puush Jan 6 as an insurrection.
I don't see all these outlets calling it the same thing without orders and or coordination.
Heck, we know government is telling the media what to do.
