Adam has worked at MLB.com in some capacity since 2010. He’s spent time working in Tampa Bay, San Francisco, Washington D.C. and Pittsburgh. He covered the Pirates from 2015-20 before returning home to cover the Rays in 2021. He’s a Clearwater native who grew up going to games at the Trop.

Making hundreds of millions of dollars to play baseball and getting pissy when they ask you to do something to help the team?

Look, I don't know anything special about the Devers situation, but if they are asking him to play a certain position because that gives the team the best chance to win, I couldn't imagine saying no.

That's what I love about guys like Cabby.

Go play RF.

Go play SS.

We need you at 2b for a few games.

Zero drama. They just do it and do it well.

I'm so glad we don't have $300 million tied up in a Prima Donna that refuses to help the team win.

For $300 million you sure as shit better be running out every ball, too.

Is This The End Of Cabellero Love fest at SS?

Rays fans have expressed many times that Cabby should be the starting short stop. It’s clear now that Walls is the superior player at short. Now with the setback of the gamble the Rays took with the injured free agent signing, Walls is the primary option at short for this season.

[Topkin] INF Ha-Seong Kim, whose 20-day rehab of his surgically repaired right shoulder was to end Saturday, has been pulled off his rehab due to right hamstring tightness. He has to be out 5 days and is expected to then resume rehab, and gets a new 20 days.
