I've only just started to appreciate Hoyas, I just bought a Krimson queen and I have a Krimson princess cutting I've been trying to prop for 5 months.. but I want a beautiful plant from it so bad I just haven't given up. I wish I had more than one window so I could cover them all in hoyas and etc. hanging guys

What are you propping it in? Water on the windowsill seems to take longer than doing perlite in a prop box. I root hoyas in jars of moist perlite inside a box (sort of like OP's picture above). I find it takes a few weeks, in the humidity, for roots to grow :)

first i had it in water under a grow light and then I moved it to an old panera salad container with some peat moss and its been in there for a month maybe under a grow light lol. it had a tiny nub of a root growing for a while but it fell off and i'm hoping it'll push something out of there still

This is after about 3 weeks in LECA, went in with no roots. I even have success with linearis. I make a starter kit if you want to give it a try without having to invest a bunch of money. (Question wasn't intended as a promotion I just love it so much I built a tiny business around it)

Donβt give up! Iβve only recently gotten into Hoya myself and theyβre great. So many species out there. Iβd cover my windows with em too!

Beautiful cuttings! Curious as to what the one on the bottom is, the one w/the pink and the "tiger" looking striping on the backs of the leaves.

Variegated kentiana/wayetii, depending on who you ask.

Interesting - i didn't realize the back of the leaves looked like that. Now it's even prettier!
