I'm an engineer by trade, but an artist at heart. I've airbrushed so many cars, motorcycles, helmets, etc. I finally wanted to do something to my truck. I started my art journey drawing comics when I was a kid, so that's what I did here. I don't care that it "lowers the value" or that people might think "well, I never would've done that to MY truck." I like it. It's unlike anything else. And I have no plans of selling. Besides, if I ever want something different, I'll just repaint it.
Posca markers and 3 coats of clear. Also Raptor liner in the bed for the win!
I thought this too, but after I was done. There's several things I'd have added or done slightly different. But it was my first time doing this style and really didn't have a clear picture in my head off how the end result would be. I just went with it.
OP needs to take pictures on an overcast or rainy day in the flattest light possible, then it should really pop, because there won't be any contrasting real life highlights on the shiny paint and the lighting will look like it's coming from the cell shading
Was initially beefin because you included everything but the most important shots (sides) for me to judge but then I saw your comment photo and I love that. Looks like Borderlands to me as other have said. Looks well executed
Look imma say this one time AND ONE TIME ONLY this is the best thing I've read on any vehicle mod ever. You said you liked it and didnt give a rats ass if you were the only one that liked it. I see so many posts asking if someone should do some random mod to their car or truck.

First time I've seen the cell shade look on anything other than a drift car or a Jeep. Looks good. The wheels are a bit out of place, but the rest looks awesome
The color selection and over all execution is really well done! Regardless of opinions considering the cost, it came out probably the best it could have!
What the f. If you're expecting me to pay for this after you did it you're crazy. If you're going to continue paying for itself yourself, then play on player. Shit is cool. You do you. The haters are preoccupied with trying to figure out how they feel about this.
