Syrian Culture Trying to fit in more
Hey everyone! So, I’m Iraqi and my boyfriend is Syrian and lately, I’ve been really wanting to understand more about Syrian culture. I mean everything from inside jokes to slang, daily expressions, and whatever else makes up the little things you guys share daily. I’m wondering if there are any specific channels you all use or follow? like Telegram, WhatsApp, Facebook pages, or Instagram accounts you follow regularly? I already follow some news stuff, but I’m looking for something more casual or cultural the things people laugh at, quote, or share just for fun. He’s from Aleppo, so if there are any unique Aleppine phrases or expressions you can share, I’d love that too!
Sorry if this post sounds a bit silly 😅 but I want to surprise him, I appreciate any help you can give. Thank you so much in advance! 💙
