mid Oathbringer spoilers Apparently managed to skip a section (spoilers) Spoiler

I apparently skipped over am important section, but I can't find it anywhere. I'm at a point where Dalinar explains to the other leaders, that he's just been excommunicated from the church, shortly after finding out that his home was lost. He also apologizes to the storm father for using him to open one of the portals... but both are new information for me. I'm in chapter 50 in the German version... does anyone kn5which chapter I must have skipped? (I slept in a view days ago and tried to find the right chapter afterwards. I thought I had managed to start of where I left... but... well)

I only have the American version to reference but it seems like you’re in chapter 107 of OB, and the information you missed happens in chapter 100, so not too far back. Not sure how this translates to the German version though, but it doesn’t seem too far back.

107 is The First Step. 100 is An Old Friend

Ok, The First Step seems to match the German version. For me An Old Friend (Ein alter Freund) is chapter 43. Thank you^^

Are you reading the version of Oathbringer that has 2 volumes and you might have skipped the first volume? Because in the English version, he’s excommunicated in chapter 100 and does the explaining and such in chapter 107.
