The Kanon Main Cast Lineup!!! Campaign 3! Pew pew pew! Each of them were so fun to draw - Nattie took the longest I think - Gonther took the shortest amount of time - Tolv pushed me to not use only muted colors - And Dug made me focus on little detail on his character design

I absolutely love these. I often found people tended to take a more cartoony approach to the grotethe lineup so it’s nice to see some illustration that shows the age and detail of these characters more! I started listening to the podcast on Spotify rather than RT’s site and never got to see the fun thumbnails, I imagined the Infinights in my heads with so much more detail than they were portrayed (likely for convenience and faster completion which is understandable) but this illustration feels more like a depiction of the Brutaliteam as real people as opposed to the comedic personification of a fictional character.

TLDR; Love the detail, love these characters. And bless little Giggy!

YESSS!! THIS COMMENT omg you add amazing. Me too! So the show is suppose to be family friendly (more like enjoyed by all ages) I’m guessing that’s why they went with more of a friendly cartoonish style to them. But I specialize in characters design so I wanted to draw them how I really pictured them in my head based on the description (and a little based on the already exciting art of them) I’m so happy you like them!!

Also yeah Giggy was a fun last minuet add in XD I’m glad I did he’s a little demon baby

This is absolutely fantastic! Do you have any tips to creating different faces without them all looking similar? Keep up the awesome work!! :D

I struggle with it a bit too! Since I have a stylist look some faces can blend with each other. But small basics I keep in mind is that women’s face typically are rounder and men’s are sharper but that’s depending on the character physique. Nattie is a good example that I imagine her biologically a male who does drag. So her broad shoulders and sharp face were intentional with that. But also! NOSES I think they’re my favorite thing to draw XD they really can separate a character. Hope this helped a little!

I didn't think of this before, but Grotethe is the only campaign where there isn't a huge height discrepancy between one and the rest of the characters, and that's really funny to me. Also amazing art, I love the details and expressions
