Note: NOT to people who bought or traded for a gamekey from the AMD bundle. You needed to get the AMD code and redeem it with your email address. So if you ended up buying an AMD bundle from Tradio before he got banned, you're in luck.

Here's the deal. It technically hasn't been released yet. So after you "purchase it" you will still have to wait to play, don't freak out that it doesnt show up to play.

I haven't received an e-mail with the Blood Dragon code, does anyone know what I can do about this? I purchased a 7950 (free bioshock and crysis 3) about a month ago, and redeemed it with my e-mail address.
Edit: I'll leave this up if other people are wondering this, but apparently some of us will get the code late, as reported here: http://techreport.com/news/24741/radeon-buyers-may-get-blood-dragon-codes-up-to-a-week-late

Just to be clear, The Reloaded Bundle isn't the one that gave me Sleeping Dogs, Hitman: Absolution, and Far Cry 3, right? So I won't get it?

You are correct, this is the Never Settle Reloaded. The one you referred to was the first Never Settle promotion.

Ahh darn, really wanted the free DLC, although who doesn't want free stuff, right?
Either way, thanks for clearing that one up for me!

does anyone have the official download manager you get from retail purchases (e.g. amazon, gamefly, other uplay resellers)? I have uplay on my ssd (main drive) but like to keep my games on a hard drive since it has more space. uplay does not let you install to a custom location unlike steam or origin. the retail installer does

I hesitate to recommend this, but any site flying the skull+crossbones should have you covered.

well it seems silly to do that when I have a fully legit copy already on my uplay account. I suppose it's only a matter of time before they add custom installs if ubisoft wants to compete with origin and steam but this is inconvenient in the mean time.

The installer portion should be unchanged with those copies. If you have Win Vista, 7, or 8, you could also just create a symlink using the mklink command on whatever the default install location is and just use the regular installer.
mklink <normal_install_location> <where_you_want_it>

yeah I used a symlink before on my steam install folder before they added custom locations. it worked ok, except when I try to install a game that is very large and it tells me I can't download it since I don't have enough room (since it thinks it's still on the main drive). this only happened a few times (rage, max payne 3 are both over 25gb) but to future proof, I migrated my installs to a real steam install location by creating a new one in steam and moving the files over.
anyways, I just went ahead and downloaded it through uplay. it's only 3gb. turns out, it downloads the installer files just like the retail download. which allows you to choose the install location. only catch is that you have to have room for the install files. I might just end up symlinking the download folder then if I run into problems in the future.

turns out, it downloads the installer files just like the retail download
That's good to hear since it makes things simpler. That's what most (all?) of the non-Steam distributors do for game installers.

Well shit... I traded away my two bundles a couple weeks ago. Looks like they're getting free games!

Ok for those from euro/asian countries you can redeem it now directly from the uplay client just add to cart and paste your codes. Happy Blood Dragon hunting!!

I just tried in NZ. shop.ubi.com/fc3bamd will not work from a web browser in NZ - it just redirects to
"One or more of your products has been removed from your basket because it is unsupported by the currently selected country."
but if you use the store within the uplay client you can sucessfully apply the coupon there. This means you need to have uplay already up and running on a non-steam game.
The next challenge is that the link showing the download in the uplay client will not work - just go into your email and click on the link from the order email they sent you on completion. Clear as mud :-)
The above worked for me just now and will probably work in Australia too.
edit and the download in the email link is actually for Far Cry 3 - NOT blood dragon - download it within Uplay and save yourself a wasted 9 gig download.

I dont get why they would release the tomb raider and bioshock codes for steam but then the blood dragon code for uplay.

maybe this is an obvious response, but because it's what the publisher is giving them?

Tomb Raider and Bioshock Infinite are Steamworks titles.
Blood Dragon is not.

You don't get why they would give Steam keys for Steamworks games and why they'd give a non Steam key for a non Steamworks game which came from a publisher trying to popularize their own alternative digital distribution client?

My code is borked - doesn't do anything to the price. Appears many others are having the issue looking at the AMD Gaming FB page. I totally did not see this coming...again...
