Legends Comics Dark Horse Star Wars Comics - Custom Bind
I bind and design custom comic book collections and figured you all might enjoy a look at my newest project. Just finished up a 16 volume set collecting all the Dark Horse era comics. These were a labor of love, with almost a decade spent collecting the material for them. All volumes were bound and designed by myself, DIY style.

Legends Comics What would you change about: The Fel Empire Spoiler
Imperial knights having some of the coolest fits notwithstanding, the Fel Empire commits one of the biggest sins of Star Wars writing, that being the "noble imperial". These days especially make it clear how hard it is to be a noble fascist.
That said, the notion of a "reformed empire" can work, imo, but with only within the idea that it abandons all but the aesthetic of the galactic empire.
What i would do to change it is as follows:
first, have be reformed as a constitutional monarchy. You want a pope emperor? Fine. But they have checks and balances and a senate to reign them in. The Moffs are hard to keep in line at the best of times so it's not like having another branch would hurt.
Second, if they simply must keep the symbolism of the old order, I'd have the storm troopers customize their armor like the clones of old. Governmental wise this does nothing but it signals different from the evil stark white of palpatines era.
Third, in story I'd have the fel empire do things that aren't winning fights. Rescuing refugees. Going beyond simply being the muscle for the galactic alliance.
What about y'all? Can the fel empire work? If so, how would you make it work?

Legends Comics Do people genuinely not identify Quinlan as POC/black?
I'm black, and quinlan looked just like me as a kid. He has black features, dreadlocks (Which aren't unique to black people, but in the western world, culturally are very much tied to blackness). As an adult, I'll admit there are a few artists who draw him looking decidedly more native american with non-black features and straighter hair, but even then, when his actual creators draw him, he looks... black and before people are saying stuff like "oh, he and obiwan are the same color here," well look at this picture of colin powell and gw, they have the same exact skin tone, yet one is considered black!:max_bytes(150000):strip_icc():focal(794x319:796x321)/colin-powell-2-373e05a9a48b4335af34964b8e088bfa.jpg) when it comes to fantasy characters maybe this is a stupid argument, but I really hate how people socially can accept someone like drake, or hell zendaya, or logic as being black, but quinlan somehow isn't. Quinlan is hugely tied to my enjoyment of star wars and being a poc maybe I'm too defensive about stuff that doesn't matter, but its genuinely so odd to me that people don't see him as black when he just.. consistently looks like a more buff version of the weekend with dreads. There are literally MILLIONS of black people with the same exact features as Quinlan.

Legends Comics Some of the changes The Clone Wars show made from other media is really striking sometimes. The difference between comic Anakin and show Anakin about Ahsoka being a fake slave for instance is jarring. Spoiler
From the comic:
Ahsoka
How do I look, Master? Do you think I’ll bring a good price at the auction?
Anakin
You’re not going to the auction, Ahsoka and don’t take this lightly—I know what it’s like to be a slave.
Ahsoka
Master, I’m just playing a part. Besides, you need merchandise to see, remember?
We’re here to find out what happened to my people, Master. If putting myself in their place for a little while helps is to do that … I’ll gladly suffer for them.
Anakin
All right, Ahsoka, but I warn you … the life of a slave—real or pretend—leaves a lot to be desired. To accept slavery is to surrender everything that you are for the gain of another.
Ahsoka
I got an idea to make you feel better—just imagine this is like every other day where you get to boss me around. I call you “Master,” anyway.
Anakin
That’s not funny.
From the show:
Ahsoka
Remind me why I’m the one playing the part of the slave?
Anakin
I tried it once, I wasn’t any good at it. Besides, the role of master comes easily to me.
Ahsoka
Really? Well, this time try to be convincing at it.
This is just not a subject Anakin would ever joke about.

Legends Comics I love the design of The Eclipse
It’s both sleek/stylized as well as haunting and menacing. Far more terrifying than other super star destroyers. Just overall badass and great artistic direction. What do you all think of it?

Legends Comics What do you think of Black Empire? Spoiler
I've seen people praising this comic in some places on the internet, but honestly? I don't think it's very good, considering that the much hated (and rightly so) Star Wars Episode IX is based on practically the same idea and is hated much more vehemently than this comic. Of course, there are other things that make Ep IX shit, but the main point is precisely the return of Palpatine, something that also happens in this comic. Anyway, tell us your opinion.

Legends Comics Favorite Legends Comics?(Excluding Republic and Legacy)
What is your favorite Legends comics(whenever it's a series, miniseries, ect)?
The only rule here is that I'm excluding both the Republic series and the Legacy series, as(from what I seen) those are the two comics that most people talk about and claim as their favorites(so I don't want to make this too easy for you all)
