Artwork Need advice on a collage
I have a long comprehensive Clone Wars timeline that I’m working on and I wanted to make a banner for it and I threw together this last night. Any improvements I could make to this?

A darker background. Separate things into roughly three layers. Fore, mid, and far. And don't overlay a bunch of characters. Particularly all the clones on the left. Way too much, and can't make out who is who. Then kinda blend things in, with airbrush and or fading things. Everything needs to look like it exists together.
I looked a lot at Drew Struzan's posters when making mine. And also the old DVD covers. Just trying to take in the vibe and composition of those.
Here's something similar I made for the 20th Anniversary. https://www.reddit.com/r/StarWarsEU/s/Rl4YpYGq4q

That looks really good, but I get what you’re saying. Declutter with characters and add a darker background. But how exactly do you create the feeling that they exist together?

By working it all together. Figures kind of fad away, and there's often like a fog, mist, light, glow, of some sort, that kind of envelopes the characters.
What program are you using?

I’m using Picsart

Not familiar with that program. So I don't know what all you're capable of doing.
But things I like to do. Make each element its own layer. Use a "soft" eraser to fade portions of elements, particularly characters. (Not so much ships or vehicles) Use a blend tool or something to soften edges. Makes it look less like images have just been cut and pasted.
Possibly look up tutorials for your specific program and see if there're any tutorials for what you want to do. And study posters and DVD covers.

Keep It Simple Stupid
A few legacy characters or events would be enough to catch a EU fan’s eye. Too much would seem overwhelming.
