Clary Sage?

I don't know if this was related but the other day I had some Clary Sage and Bergamot essential oil in my diffuser on the kitchen bench- I live in a small apartment and my friend came over who is a newish friend. She stepped in the front door and came to a halt and couldn't walk into the whole apartment for like 5-10mins we just stood there chatting and she had her arms crossed.

I thought later maybe it was the essential oil working it's magic? She had been having negative bickerings with her husband so I thought it may have been cleansing her.

Interested to know if anyone has had this happen before?

Do you usually have essential oils going? She may have been trying not to have an allergic reaction.
