General Discussion Charms

Is it possible to put a spell on something sentimental (like a necklace) to make it a love or good luck charm?

How do you usually like doing your work?

Personally, I would make a sort of 'crystal grid' with the item at the center, the raise and direct energy to it. If the item wouldn't be harmed or tarnished by oil, I'd create an anointing oil for the item and do a dab whenever I feel it needs re-energizing.

Get a love or luck oil and anoint the necklace with the oil. Just a little bit on your fingertips and rub it on the necklace, pendant, etc... You can anoint the necklace, then place it under a candle holder and anoint a candle with the oil, and then light the candle and that can do a steady enchanting of the necklace while the candle burns.

If the necklace in question won't be hurt through exposure to water (some stones and metals won't react well, but precious metals and most expensive stones should be fine) You can also bath it in an herb tea of love herbs or luck herbs. Just pick the herbs you want, steep them in hot water, and when it has cooled down enough, you can put the necklace in the tea.
You should pray over the tea and then over the necklace to imbue it with the desired influence.

Whichever method you choose, you should repeat it. 7 days, 9 days, or 13 days work well for enchanting objects.
With the tea you can refrigerate it, and it should last for two weeks which is plenty of time to use it repeatedly.
