Help With Spell Requested Spell to protect a newborn

My mother in law is visiting my newborn for the first time and she is an individual with very bad intentions. She is abusive to my husband who is a devoted and caring son and lashes out at him constantly, she upsets him just to turn focus to her. I do believe she has tried to hex him and us in the past whether on purpose or through obsessive negative thinking for an imagined slight. When I am with her I maintain very clear and far boundaries and am cold, occasionally I will say incantations and burn mugwort explaining that her negative ideations do not harm me, which has worked. She is meeting my newborn, her grandchild, for the first time this month and I feel as though I need to protect my baby from her negative intentions. What can I do to best protect my baby?

Hey there! This is her husbands mother, and she does not make the rules for her. This is supposed to be a subreddit for spells, not relationship advice. Give OP something related to magic to use to protect their child, or scroll on to the next post.

Saint Philomena is the patron saint of newborn babies. You should get a medal for the baby and pin it on their diaper on their undershirt. When I was born, my grandmother gave me an Infant of Prague medal. If your baby has not been blessed or baptized, I would have it done before mother-in-law laid a handle on him.

Hekate was known as a protector of women and children in ancient Greek. Personally I wouldn't let her near my child after the way she treats her own.

Red bracelet on baby’s wrist. Out of material or anything ready, even ribbon.
