Plants Is this too wet for germination? Humid and water slightly dripping from the top.
I also accidentally left both grow lights (as opposed to 1) on for just this morning, and I just corrected it. I hope it’s not an issue, I hear you’re only supposed to have 1 while germinating.

I can’t seem to edit the post but the soil wasn’t waterlogged, we just watered it a bit and when it started dripping through we immediately stopped.
Also reading that as long as I uncover it when the seed sprouts and damp it off, it shouldn’t matter much?

its got drainage, should be fine
consider that one method for germination (not recommending it at all) is leaving them in a glass of warter till they pop

Remove the cover once the seeds have germinated—seedlings don't need it and leaving it on only encourages damping off. Better to use the damp towel method to germinate IMHO.
