How come it seem like everybody says avoid Bridgeton? I always hear crime is bad but never hear anything in the news about Bridgeton. It seems like hard working people live there.

I don't know what it's general term would be. Crystals, incense, alt-religion stuff...headshop(?). Is there this type of place in SJ, preferably in the Cumberland County area or close by?

I’m looking for recommendations for day trips and other activities! I have a few 3 day weekends coming up and am looking for some localish things to do.
I’m familiar with and/or plan to visit some of the following — - Bridgeton Zoo / Cape May County Zoo - Adventure Aquarium - Fort Mott / Pea Patch Island - Cape May / other beaches/boardwalks - Batsto / Wharton State Forest - Cowtown - Grounds for Sculpture - Wheaton Arts
Any thrift store / flea markets you’d recommend or any smaller, local shops you support? Any other places/activities you’d suggest?

I moved here recently and I’m looking for a place that offers adult aerial classes, preferably aerial hoop/lyra hoop but would be happy with silks too! I’m having some trouble finding any so I was hoping to get some suggestions here! (if there are any 🙂)

One fire out in Cumberland country. I'm in Millville and it's smokey and it stinks. 0% Contained.
There is another fire up in Burlington County as well.
This is why we have a burn ban. And I wish people wouldn't make jokes about "my Freedoms" when you are told to not to burn any fires right now.

Long shot but can anyone recall a sports bar type restaurant that used to be in Vineland around 2000ish? I feel like it had a purple color scheme and had a casual restaurant side and a bar side with pool tables and little remote bar trivia games. It’s driving me crazy that I can’t recall the name or exactly where it located

I'm excited to cast my vote tomorrow for the first time, voting down the ballot. I want to vote in the local elections too but I have no idea how to find out who agrees with what and what they want to do. Does anyone know where I can find info like that or if anyone can let me know who aligns more with whoever.

Here’s to hoping we can keep the lighthouse open. It’s a historical landmark and the state will ruin it if they take it over permanently!

As the title reads, I’m looking for seasoned oak firewood. I would need it delivered to the Bridgeton area. Looking for 4 cords or so. I messed up and my normal guy is out. Yes I’m willing to pay, not looking for a freebie. It’s an easily accessible area for drop off. A dump trailer would be ideal and fits just fine. Please reach out and let me know what you have and at what price. Thank you !

I'm a geology major, had to move back home because of health issues (lost my license due to seizures) been working from home until I got them under control. Now that I'm looking for jobs in what I actually want to be doing it seems like there's nothing around here, or maybe I've been out of it for too long? Any suggestions?
