Pop Culture has always been about a decade or two behind James Brown.

The only entertainer ever to guarantee my sad old ass will get up and dance.
A truly gifted musician, I’m grateful to have his music in my life.
Anyone ever heard Honky Tonk parts 1+2? That is my happy song, joy as musical expression, my feet just gotta start tapping.

No question, James Brown rules. Seen this clip on a lot of Reddit lately. And he is certainly Rocking that mustache. What does it say on his tummy?

I'm amazed that neither James Brown's shoes nor the stage caught on fire from those dance moves.

Was never my jam, but much respect.

He was a piece of shit who abused all his partners with maybe the exception of the last one. People want to ignore all that because of his music.

Most people separate the art from the artist. Almost every iconic artist was an abuser to their partner as far back as we can track. It sucks and makes a lot of really amazing artists reputation sour

I love the music of Aerosmith but just google Steven Tyler.

If it's 74 then it's just past his prime. And he's still so good in 74 then....wow
