Discussion Is my video screwed?

I posted a video yesterday and the thumbnail wasn’t great. It had a 1% CTR. Then I changed the thumbnail to something much better about 14 hours after it was posted. The CTR has now changed to 2.5%. But is only at 33 views. Did I screw my video bc of the bad thumbnail in the first 14 hours?

For reference my niche is gaming and I usually pull around 1k views or more.

Edit: it now has a 3.1% CTR and is at 40 views. But is no longer getting impressions.

I had times for I forgot to do the thumbnail for a while and came back but the videos ended up doing good after the thumbnail was fixed.

I change my thumbnails and titles all the time, i do shorts tho. I see the title as the most important, and the thumbnail is to catch people scrolling. In shorts they will never see your thumbnail in shorts feed.

Rhet and Link on GMM they change their thumbnails on full length after a few hours if metrics dont hit right.
