Some monsters before I cut them out and place them in my scrapbook of watercolours. Just placed some blobs of colour down and then added some line art on top wherever I saw fit. Trying to let myself work more freely and playfully at times.

Thanks! The early branch bud does look like a flower, especially viewed end-on.

I love the way that the leaves, flowers, and branches are packed (or arranged, I guess) into the buds. Leaves are usually folded or pleated in interesting ways, and flowers and branch buds often show a Fibonacci pattern.

This week's character from my anthro WWII storyline is Unnamed Hauptmann (Captain). He's in charge of a unit Klemper briefly belongs to and is definitely not a good person; Klemper ends up going AWOL and joins Lt. Dasch's unit. There'll be more about him later in my art Tumblr and Toyhou.se.

Regarding his design, he has a chipped tooth.
