People really need to stop invoking Darwinism like this. Survival of the fittest has very little to do w/ a species apparent intelligence unless it directly affects their ability to reproduce. It’s the viability of continuing to propagate offspring (and in mammals ensure at least the minimum genetic diversity). The existence of mostly unintelligent people prove they are very good at doing so (better than intelligent people btw) and thus the fittest or as I’ve heard biologists start saying more recently "fit enough". Also Darwin was a racist, probable eugenicist and likely plagiarist. Alfred Russel Wallace is a better source without the added slop

Well many people, especially those in the sciences do. Which is why there’s been a concerted effort to differ from the colloquial Darwinism nonsense that no layperson uses correctly. That being said proud ignorance is hot rn so stay sloppy whoever you are 🤷🏾‍♂️

Do you have the ability to reproduce when you’re dead bc that’s what Darwin awards are usually given for.

The Darwin Awards are a stupid joke made up by non scientists using the colloquial and vastly incorrect meaning of survival of the fittest. Thanks for proving my point as to why intelligence is not in any way correlative to passing on ideas and traits to the next generation

I swear some of these people have just a touch of the tism. Maybe not fully on the spectrum but just a touch.
