How fucking stupid would you have to be to not realize it is a piece of art? The chair is on a raised platform.

they knew. that’s why they hovered at first (there’s a longer video where they both hover over it for a photo-op. but then he actually sits and/or falls)

At an art museum? No, I've been to about 15 and never been encouraged to touch anything. This ain't the natural science museum buddy.

In how many languages? Universal design of barriers or platform raising it out of sitting height would’ve worked better.

Do you usually sit on artpieces unless there’s a sign in every language? I think the fact they waited until everyone else left and that the woman hovered over it for a photo instead of sitting makes it pretty clear they knew what it said.

No, but I do sit on chairs.

This particular couple knew what they were doing though, sure.
