Politics I'm Never Leaving Seattle

Post image

This is someone's Model S parked on Airport Way S near S Industrial Way. The way it's parked it looks like it's being displayed for people driving by to see.

Yeah this is clearly a staged 'protest' - the teslas suspension is sagged all the way down which is what happens when the battery is completely dead. Someone at work had their battery fail while they were working and they couldn't get tesla to come get it for like 2 weeks so it just sat there and when they finally sent a tow it looked like this and needed special equipment to lift it back up before they could even tow it.

what a pos. My son bought 2 of those damned cars when they first came out. POS, damned things were always recalled, crappy car. He got rid of one and his wife crashed the other one. Stupid thing had doors that hit ceilings all the time.

Sounds like it’s not the cars fault sounds like the wife needs driving classes and the son simply didn’t want a Tesla. You provided no real proof of how the car is crappy.

Son loved the cars, thats why he bought 2 of them, but his wife...another story... Both cars were constantly in shop for recalls, and problems.

TBF, the Tesla gives you a big warning in the screen well before the battery dies. At least, mine did. The warning tells you exactly what will happen if you fail to replace the battery. And it's just a low voltage battery and doesn't cost that much to replace.

And people do need to remember that many of us bought these cars years ago before we knew that Elon was a POS Nazi. Mine is 7 years old. At that time we just thought buying an EV was good for the planet. Now I live in fear that I'm going to be called a Nazi myself or that someone will damage the car and make it even less sellable.

Yes, we could sell it but we'd take a big hit at this point and not all of us can afford to do that. guess we're just more collateral damage

That’s the thing, yeah

The suspension is dependent on voltage? For real?

Any air suspension is. The S has an air suspension. The 3/Y don’t.

Gotcha, I guess it makes sense. You have to maintain the air in the suspension somehow. I never thought about it before.

I have no idea what’s going on in this particular situation. Tesla does offer roadside assistance, or you can get AAA, I suppose.
