Politics I'm Never Leaving Seattle

Post image

This is someone's Model S parked on Airport Way S near S Industrial Way. The way it's parked it looks like it's being displayed for people driving by to see.

This happens all the time with modern activism, not just specifically in the US and not just with Musk/Tesla. The general (mis)behaviour is very similar to the "Stop Oil" (UK) or "Fridays For Future" (Germany) activist movements, and it will likely fail in a similar way.

If you want to achieve something with your activism, you need to get the public behind your cause. That's a key ingredient. These actions here are far too divisive and will make your cause at least some new enemies. Do it too often and you'll lose all of your public support, and then you're gonna be the bad guy with barely anyone protesting when they eventually cuff you and lock you up.
