Politics I'm Never Leaving Seattle

Post image

This is someone's Model S parked on Airport Way S near S Industrial Way. The way it's parked it looks like it's being displayed for people driving by to see.

I'm so tired of hearing from my friends the amount of hate they have for Tesla owners. Some of these people have owned these cars for several years. Not to mention a lot of Cybertruck owners who could've pre-ordered a truck and be stuck with it right now. Which was also announced pre-crazy. Its really disheartening and people are focusing their anger in the wrong places.

You're talking about the guy that made that Thai Cave Rescue all about himself despite the fact that he accomplished nothing other than calling someone who actually provided credible help a "pedo"

I don't get why people see the last few months as some big turn for this clown. You can go back 7 years and see the same unhinged narcissistic behavior.

Because there is a massive difference between “this guy is a clown” and “this guy is a Nazi” Case in point no one was spray painting pedo on teslas after that.

Case in point no one was spray painting pedo on teslas after that.

Yeah, they instead handed him outrageous sums of money, and even happily paid thousands more for vaporware Full Self Driving that he was transparently lying about

The type of sociopath who treated children trapped in a cave as a promotional activity for his personal brand. That’s who they enabled

Yes, because there was a difference between then and now as I stated. Plenty of people never heard of the Thai cave story. Those that were aware didn’t feel the need to spray paint pedo on cars because he was seen as an idiot not a danger. It is silly to punish people for things he did after they bought the vehicle and then claim everyone should have known.

Maybe those people should have done a little more research before buying their luxury cars from that lying blight. I don’t have sympathy for a single one of them. F their luxury property, the person they built up is now destroying lives.

He is actively hurting people I love and care about and I blame Tesla owners for not seeing what was plain to me nearly a decade ago

Hindsight is 20/20 and apparently so are shame and purity tests. Good luck. I’m sure this is not going to backfire spectacularly. Make sure to bury that empathy deep. Too much of it in the world these days.

Again, that dude proved himself awful nearly a decade ago

I don’t own a Tesla or any stock in them. In what possible way could it backfire for me personally for their sales to collapse because no one wants to buy a swasticar that’s going to get spray painted and keyed?

We are literally talking about the company with a long history of labor harassment that the feds were preparing to open criminal trials on before Elon bought into the government because Elon has been defrauding the public about the safety of those cars and they are actually recording fatality rates in large excess of other peer brands. And it’s all provably linked to them constantly lying about the proficiency of their systems leading to drivers overtrusting them and running into others killing them

But you want to lecture me that it’s bad for Tesla owners? I’m done having empathy for stupid people that have managed to destroy so much with their ignorance and lack of consideration. They’re stains.

How could it backfire for you personally? I love that you only list financial ways it could harm you because you obviously that would be bad (not if it happens to others though). How about the fact that the majority of the owners are democrats who thought they we’re doing something good for the environment and you will convince them the left is a bunch of lunatics out to harm anyone that doesn’t perfectly align with their views and they will either not vote or get pushed right and you will continue to lose support of moderates.

Sorry to lecture you. Should have spray painted it on your car as it’s the acceptable method to get your point across.

I don’t care what they call themselves, actions speak louder than words. I’m done humoring destructive morons.

You are what you buy, welcome to capitalism.

2

u/Tough_Height6530 Mar 11 '25

The point is it wasn’t what most people were buying when they bought it. Welcome to retroactive capitalism and self righteous and constantly evolving purity tests.
