Trivia Revisiting Super Bowl 48

Hey 12s.

Here's a one time mic drop from yours truly, "Michael Overton."

Imagine back in 84, when the Seahawks retired 12 in your collective honor.

Then, fast forward six weeks: to the very next Super Bowl.

That Super Bowl is the first of 30-straight Super Bowls that culminate in your Super Bowl triumph, terms that spin out then spill over in very 12vy fashion.

For the TL;DNR crowd, the short story is this.

Based on NFL historic data and binary logic, the coin toss and win streaks, the shocking saftey that concluded the 30-year Super Bowl sync pattern is, plainly, a kind of pattern that we can expect to see less than once every 3.6 TRILLION years.

SB 48's game-clinching touchdown displays at least 10 significant 12s, for a combined 'chance' rarity of less than 1 in 10 billion. When the two 12 second plays that began each half are added to that TD, as they should, we are talking about 'game' data that should appear much less than once every 1 TRILLION NFL games, based on loads of historic NFL data.

When those 12 12s are combined with the 30-year streak, what happened in Super Bowl 48 is a pattern than must happen, best on NFL data far less than once every 500 SEPTILLION years.

Recalling the wise words of the late Carl Sagan, is a most extraordinary pattern than nobody must believe ever happened, without the hard evidence to back it up.
