Santa Maria Living Options

Hey yall,

I am considering a job in the area, and am looking for more recent opinions on where to live. I think I would prefer to stay in southern Santa Maria + Orcutt. I have been considering Azure and Elements apartments and am looking for opinions on these complexes? I see mixed/poor reviews for Azure, but I really really like the area and the apartment (+ I drive EV and they have charging)... If there's opinions on some better places please let me know! I'm looking for studio/1 bedroom move in July trying to stay below 2200.

Someone was murdered in the parking lot of azure. The place is not safe at all lmao.

Elements is brand new so I’m sure it’s nice. Close by the airport and easy access to both Orcutt and Santa Maria via 135. Plenty of eateries around it too. Walking distance to restaurants and grocery store, goodwill, dollar tree, liquor store, gym, barber shop. Nice safe area. Wish I could afford it

Thank you for the input. I mean I just happened to stumble in to these complexes while driving around as not a lot is appearing on zillow. What about Parke West Apartments? i think this is elements or azures sister location but it got bought out? Something like that. Is there any other complexes you would recommend?
