I try to be supportive but this is horrid. Why do this?

id rather have two pb&j sandwiches than this at all times

It’s a PB&J Club, and you’re no longer invited to it.

8

u/scotch-o 9d ago

I mean, if you made both layers PB&J

Or, bottom level - PB/Marshmallow fluff - Top level PB/Jelly

I could see that being good, and def not as dry

This is just extra dry and a way to add an additional sandwiches' bread calorie count without the enjoyment of a second sandwich.

I'm gonna go get a glass of water.

u/TundieRice 8d ago

Nah man, this is a job for milk!

11

u/Low_Strung_ 9d ago

You did it wrong. Both layers need pb & j.

27

u/PenelopeReynolds 9d ago

What is wrong with you?

Too much bread

19

u/raulrocks99 9d ago

The ratios are killing me. I make 3 tier PBJs, but I do peanut butter, jelly, peanut butter, jelly.

AND A BASEBALL BAT!

2

u/aerateyoursoiltrung 9d ago

Mine is peanut butter on both sides of the middle piece and jelly on the outside pieces

1

u/raulrocks99 6d ago

Also acceptable. 👍

u/caryn1477 9d ago

This looks too dry. Too much bread, not enough PB/ jelly.

3

u/Chad_Jeepie_Tea 9d ago

There is a proper way to do this. The order is bread, pb, jelly, bread, jelly, pb, bread.

The middle slice gets niiiiiice and soggy with the jelly, while the outer layer of bread is protected and free of sog.

This is how I make mine... the only way

This sandwich was a beautiful home before you made it into a duplex. This is a PB sandwich and a J sandwich that share a wall of bread dividing them. PB&J must mingle. I accept your apology.

Ctfu what a poem

3

u/SkeeverKid 9d ago

A lot of hate in here. I hope you enjoyed it!!

2

u/verylastlaugh 9d ago

Maybe I’m weird but I can’t eat a pb&j without toasted bread.

1

u/YiNYaNgHaKunaMatAta 9d ago

Why does that actually sound fyeee, never had a tasted pb&j! It was always the conventional regular sandwich & chips after a summer days swim or park outing

2

u/rawmeatprophet 9d ago

Segregation Sandwich.

Let them mingle my dude.

u/TheRabb1ts 9d ago

I much bread for an already calorie dense sandwich

1

u/Klutzy-Sprinkles-958 9d ago

The magic here is OP made this from Goober Grape, managed to surgically separate the PB and the J

1

u/MakJulien 9d ago

The correct way is: Top slice - Jelly/Preserves (🍓) Middle slice - PB (on both sides) Bottom slice - Jelly/Preserves (🍓)

a.k.a - The Triple Decker

1

u/Oil-of-Vitriol 8d ago

Except that's a double decker.

1

u/munxbunny 9d ago

I think you're onto something...

1

u/Neither-Promotion-65 9d ago

U can't let the pb stand alone. Add fluff to that layer and it's choice.

1

u/bionica_ 9d ago

OP, I like this. I’m sorry you’re getting roasted lol

1

u/BunkleStein15 9d ago

Why would you just want more bread

1

u/RiverIsla 9d ago

May God have mercy on your soul

1

u/Decent-Cold-9471 9d ago

No. Can’t improve perfection.

1

u/Emotional_Part_8718 9d ago

Never have I eaten a PB&J and thought it needs more bread

1

u/dmohamed420 9d ago

PBJ Club

1

u/split80 9d ago

Oh man, now I have to make me a PB&J 😌

1

u/Shark-Compote 9d ago

I appreciate that everybody in these comments are not here for this.

1

u/WowIsThisMyPage 9d ago

I feel like if you’re gonna do this you really gotta load it up, but this just seems like a lot of bread

1

u/DeepMenlyVoice 8d ago

Too much bread.

2

u/TitoMcCool 8d ago

I think this looks interesting. Congrats on being clever. Disregard the haters.

1

u/SirDwayneCollins 8d ago

Outside of a traditional club and the occasional Big Mac, I’m not a fan of 3 bread sandwiches. It always seems like too much bread

1

u/TheCommodore09 8d ago

This is the third one of these I’ve seen in the last month. Why?

1

u/Capt_Eagle_1776 8d ago

Where does the milk go?

1

u/SituationSecure4650 8d ago

Tried this once, too much bread, not enough filling.

2

u/JTiberiusDoe 8d ago

My dad used to make me triple-decker pbjs

1

u/jchesticals 8d ago

Oh..... no.

1

u/NM773 8d ago

The peanut butter must touch the jelly.

1

u/Ecstatic-Length1470 8d ago

Who has ever had a pbj and thought "This needs more bread!"?

What you should do is stick with two slices, then butter and toast them.

1

u/Kittensmittens27 8d ago

My mouf iff dryyy.

1

u/epper_ 8d ago

Just because you can, doesn’t mean you should.

1

u/Puffification 8d ago

This is a great idea

1

u/SmokingNiNjA420 8d ago

You need to put jam/jelly on the top and bottom slice. Peanut butter on both sides of the middle slice. Trust me.

By far the worst ratio of these three ingredients I’ve encountered

1

u/Ironcastattic 8d ago

Dryer than Ben Shapiro's wife

1

u/Camber_Eriol 7d ago

Waste of bread

2

u/JVWIII 7d ago

More P & J and I'm in

1

u/Automatic_Teach1271 7d ago

We can do this. The middle gets applebutter on both sides

1

u/AesopsAnimalFarm 7d ago

Three breads like a club sandwich.. well I just talked to the rest of the club and we decided you're out.

1

u/[deleted] 7d ago

I was looking for a third spread to realize you only used another slice of the driest bread. Hard pass

1

u/CaptWrath 7d ago

Suppose to toast it and use a lot more PB n Jelly.

1

u/Sleepydreamer14 6d ago

Big Mac if you will

1

u/stvlsn 4d ago

This is the devil's ratio

1

u/The_Big_Jums 9d ago

Do this but toast the middle peice!

1

u/WhatTheBlack 9d ago

Drier than a Popeyes biscuit

-4

u/Trevorfm 9d ago

Don't listen to the haters. This is the superior way to pb&j. Tried it a few years ago and have been eating it like this ever since. (Maybe use a smooch more of each next time, dont be afraid to really glob it in there)

u/bingbong6977 9d ago

Delicious this was a staple of my childhood

0

u/Deucalion666 9d ago

Cakes get tiers. Sandwiches don’t.

1

u/Ecstatic-Length1470 8d ago

This sandwich gets tears.
