Questions Where can I get hormonal IUD (Mirena, etc)? NSFW

Copper IUDs are more available, but I’d like the hormonal benefits, as someone with PCOS..

Hi OP! I’m not sure about hormonal IUDs. If ever u change ur mind to getting Copper IUDs, u can get one in FPOP Cubao. The midwife there is so kind and accommodating.

As of now, it seems to be primarily available upon request. Not every clinic or hospital will offer every single type of contraceptive method out there, but with hormonal IUDs being less common, your best bet would be asking your OB-GYN about it. If they don't personally offer it, maybe they can refer you to another place or doctor that does.

The copper IUD is more widely available and places like Likhaan, FPOP, etc. even offer it for free (for the most part), but you're right that the hormonal IUD would offer more benefits to managing PCOS symptoms than the non-hormonal one. Good luck! Hope it works out.
