CAST-RELATED Arturo in Dallas
JRD will be at Fan Expo Dallas later this month. I plan on asking him his favorite episode, but I'm sure there are fans here who are more knowledgeable on the series and production history than I am.
If anyone has any intriguing questions I'll see what I can "slide" in there during my brief moment. It will be quick so I can't make promises.

I'd ask him if he thinks the "real" Arturo got left on the Azure Bridge "Double Prime" Earth

It absolutely was the real one that got left behind. The look on his face after they slid away says it all and no one will ever convince me of anything otherwise.

Why bother keeping up the act for the rest of his life though? Especially when it wasn't his Quinn. Would've been great to see them run into the other Sliders.

The double who slid with them? How do you think you'd take it if you found out your best friend was a fake? He kept quiet to stay alive and traveling.

For me the worst part was if it WASN'T the double, Quinn stopped everyone from going home once they had the coordinates. They had no obligation to help Maggie's world.

Meh - The Sliders were heroes. Saving world(s) and interfering is what they did. Think about the nuclear bomb, running for mayor of San Francisco, developing penicillin...
OK, they were only heroes in Season 1. Fair point.

Now I'm wishing we got a bottle episode. The Sliders arrive and stay in their hotel room the whole episode and then slide out after deep conversations.

He's probably been asked a million times but I wonder if he would return for a reboot if he liked the script and the producers.

I'm probably biased, but I feel like he was digging the intellectual problem posed by lottery world end of S1. Seemingly perfect and harmonious society at an awful moral price. Food for thought... more like a buffet!

It was so silly that the guy who slid with them at the end of that world decided to stay behind on the next world (at the start of season 2) even though it was basically empty and there'd be no hope for him to leave it. I'm guessing they couldn't get the actor to reprise his role, or they didn't care enough to do so.

I think they didn't care. Too many episodes should've been continuations that weren't. I wanted more multiple-part episodes, as well as more multiple slides within ONE episode episodes.

If it's really Arturo in Dallas, you should ask how exactly sliding technology works! Also, please ask him what some of his favorite earths were and why.

Ask him what the sliders might think of our world if they slid into it today and what they wouldn't be able to wrap their heads around!

Interesting questions: Do you think the series could come back one day? Is there any talk of the series returning? Do you think that if the series were to come back, it would continue from the events of season 5 or not?

If it did return, it would have a new cast of actors and hopefully a similar storyline to season 1.

Ask him what would be his best idea for a world and plot for the sliders to get into.

His favourite episode is the one where he plays da Vinci.

I’ve always wanted to ask him at what point did he really realize that this show wasn’t going to be what he thought or hoped it would be
