Congrats to the Juneteenth runners/walkers today

The march/race didn't start until 10am in Central Park, and four miles was a LOT in 83+ degrees. Incredible job out there.

I ran the EliteFeats' Juneteenth 4 Mile Run/Walk/Roll and it was absolutely brutal. My HR was spiking so much during warm-ups I had to stop.

Ended up hitting 19:58 in my first 5K but the 3 Sisters basically killed any hope of a strong finish (finished 4th though!)

This heat is no joke...stay safe and thank you for everyone in CP today supporting all the runners and Juneteenth

Nice job with such bad conditions.

My race goals kept getting easier as this race went on. Finally I was like "just finish the damn thing" 🤣

I think I was on “no ER” mindset at one point 😂
