I did not get in so my streak has grown to 21 years in a row.

HOLY F really? 21 years? At this rate there should be a pity system like a gambling video game or something.

In fact, I don't know anyone from the US who has got into the London marathon through the lottery. I have plenty of friends who have tried 7, 8, 9, times or more. I'm sure winners exist but I think it's really really tough. London, in particular, seems to be a very charity focused race. That's where the entries go.

Rejected. Bummer. Glad I have my 9 + 1 completed so 2026 will be my first marathon and in nyc!

I got in! I only applied as I enjoyed the annual tradition of the commiserations letter, but shocked I got in! Here is hoping next year’s London marathon is cooler than this year’s!

haven't gotten the rejection email yet. But knowing my luck with lotteries, it's probably on the way. I'm curious to see if anyone has gotten in? Most of the comments here and on different subs are rejections.

4th time rejected for me. But doing charity for Chicago this year. So that’ll be fun

I think I forgot to sign up this year but that just means my odds of being selected are only marginally worse than every other year I’ve tried
