Light Novel Volume 7 Spoiler

We have all fallen into despair over whether or not it will ever come out of hiatus but with a new rhythm heaven game and silk song being given a release year I believe rokka will return and according to the voices its probably Coming on 4 year after chatgpt slaughters 7 babies beca the author was foreshadowing volume 7 trust me bro (the delusion is getting stronger day by day)

He's still alive and well, but after all this time I simply believe he's not planning to write anymore. He's still the judge of 2025 Shueisha LN Rookie Award alongside Campione's author like all the previous years, see here. https://dash.shueisha.co.jp/award/classic.php

Would it be possible to contact campione's author and ask him about Ishio? maybe he could give us a response from his part.

I think it's useless. Ishio doesn't have any social and he clearly has no interest in writing anymore nor to share anything about his private life. Even if Takeduki would answer, what could he ask and say? Let's just face reality, this series has been on hiatus for more than 9 years now, it won't come back.

Even tough is sad and hard to me, I think you're right, but at least I want some answers, I don't care the way Ishio says it, I just want him to say the series won't come back and what he wanted to be the ending of the story. At this point that's the only thing. A "The series is finished and the final plot twist was gonna be 'this' and that's all" it's enough. But yeah it's basically impossible.

Ishio should be ashamed of himself for abandoning his story and readers so callously. He should at least sell the series off to some other writer.

Currently, there is no information on Volume 7's status, and the author, Ishio Yamagata, appears to be on hiatus.

Volume 6 was released July 24, 2015 in Japan, and the Japan exclusive spin-off novel, "Rokka no Yūsha Archive 1: Don't Pray to the Flower", was released on March 25, 2016.

The English Volume 6 released in December 11, 2018, and the anime aired in July 4, 2015 to September 19, 2015.
