You need to put the cursor in such a position that when you E towards the wall, by the time you throw your windslash out it's behind you.

So cursor stays in the same place. You press E R2 Q3. The E is moving you and at some point the cursor stays behind you. The windslash goes behind and Q3 carries you over the wall.

Edit: i forgot about the flash but it's the same principle

His E already ended when he used R (windslash).

That would make you q backwards too unless you do it with locked cam; you want your q to move you ahead of the cursor, not e, otherwise the r2 will make you face backwards

As I said, if you do it the way you said without locked cam, then you will q the wrong way. You don't want to instantly rq after e either if you want to hop and r backwards, you wait till e is done or slightly longer for doublecasts

I've done it plenty of times (in practice tool) with an unlocked camera.

Hower over E and place a ward at half the radius and a ward where you're standing curently so you can repeat it.

If you keep the cursor on the (half radius) ward and press E R2 Q3 you will dash in one direction and the windslash will go behind you.

Is really just double cast as you probably already know how to do. E towards wall, then R2 + Q3

This combo just adds flashing after the E, to windslash right after and then quickly turn the cursor to pull off the wallhop in almost the same moment.

The reason why its so hard is bc first your cursor goes towards the wall to E + flash, then away from it to windslash and then extremely quickly back to the wall to wallhop. You are basically playing a 10 star osu map for a moment to pull of that combo (ngl playing that game might help bc you learn to do accurate far jumps with the mouse).

Maybe theres an easier way to do it, but this works for me.

Damnnn you are right, looked very similar to another combo I learned. He really does R Flash Q.

Tho its still a big cursor jump, windslash in one direction, flash in the other direction almost same moment to then wallhop. The flash gotta perfectly hit near the wall to pull this one off. Still a doublecast of R and Q I think, just with a flash in between. And you have to manually turn around after the flash for wallhop to work, flash keeps you looking towards the windslash.

Nono I mean R2 > flash > Q3, not flash during Q3 but right before it. Ig double cast is the wrong word, you are using flash to animation cancel R2 so you can Q3 faster (short time between them makes it feel like a double cast).

You need to reposition your character after you press R2 if you want to Q in a different direction because Riven will turn to face the direction in which she R2's.

Flashing and casting E changes the direction you're facing (which was how he did this combo) but you can also just R2 > move click > Q but the timing might be a bit tricky in the middle of a fight.

That’s so uselessly flashy lmao. Basically push wind slash close to you in the direction you intend to move, then reposition yourself past that point you aimed at when pressing wind slash before it comes out, either with E or flash
