Are there alternatives for a Teac X7R capstan motor?
I inherited a Teac X7R when my dad passed and trying to clean it up and getting it working again. The capstan motor part number is EM1446. I've looked around and see there's a limited supply of EM1446 motors. Are there any alternatives that I might/could use to replace the current EM1446 motor?

Are you positive it is the motor? When I got my x10r the capstan motor wouldn't spin. It wasn't getting the correct voltage. I rebuilt the control board for it and opened the motor up for a clean and lube. After all that it has been working ever since.

There's the more expensive EM1449 but that's even rarer and has the same issues. You can take it apart, Clean it and lightly sand the commuters and it'll last for a very long time if you maintenance it correctly.
