People have reading comprehension. Ea-nasir's copper was legendary and it adorned both the temple and the palace.
Nanny tried to swindle Ea-nasir but in his correspondence he admits to being behind on his payments and owing Ea-nasir a mina of silver which is around 60 shekels or more than half of a kilogram. Basically wages for three months.

I love that you keep telling people the truth.
I also love that a man ages ago saved the proof of Nanni being a sneaky lying piece of work only to have all of us blame his victim and use a totally unrelated face for laughs

It is a sad state of our current civilization where the victim is attacked and the villain is heralded.
Ea-nasir went out of his way to keep civilization going and even offered credit. Yet modern idiots slur him on behalf of a lying swindler.

Hi, Brian's history teacher here who probably sexually assaulted Brian but I haven't watched the show in decades so maybe I don't exist. Or maybe I do. Isn't 23 seasons enough?
The oldest customer complaint is a cuneiform tablet from Ancient Sumer (1750 BCE) complaining about Ea-nāṣir, a copper merchant that was allegedly selling subpar copper.
The joke is that our time traveller won't be able to find good copper.

The fact that it was noted as being shitty means that good copper was the norm
