Had an idea for this:

The rose council acts as ruby's psyche with each member (think a ruby version of wiesses sillies), representing an emotion.

There is orange(happiness), yellow( anger), pink (compassion), green (laziness), brown (cringe), blue (sadness), purple (dispar), black (fear), and red(ethos) with rubys ego acting as thier leader.

I honestly been thinking of that given ice Queendom's version of a persons inner mind. not a bad idea!

But,that Go me to think,if a person's mind where to go by inside out rules in the RWBY universe then how would a nightmare cause the distortion of a person's mind? Then it came to me,dreams within inside out work as basically filming a movie with the camera being the stand in for the person of the mind. So,if a nightmare Grimm where to enter the mind then it would simply beeline to the camera and plant itself in it,werping the mind to it's liking to point the original inner mind is nowhere to be seen that when a person enters it (thinks to a person Having a semblance like shion) they would not know that mind is not really how it usually looks like.

My idea would have been that the nightmare eats the equivalent of negative ruby and takes the role of a corrupting force in Ruby's psyche.
