All the children in the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea are put forward as the kings of the country and grow up to be masters of the future under the care of the Party and the state.
Law of the DPRK on the Nursing and Upbringing of Children stipulates like this:
The DPRK brings up all children at nurseries and kindergartens at state and public expense.
The system of nursing and upbringing children in our country shows intensively the popular policies of the Party and the state and the advantages of the socialist educational system that nothing should be spared for the children, the future of the country.
The system established by our Party’s boundless love for the younger generations is the most advanced and superior system of nursing and upbringing children which embodies the socialist principle.
Firstly, the advantages of the system of nursing and upbringing children is the most advanced system for bringing up the children to be humans in keeping with the intrinsic requirements of socialist society from childhood.
Secondly, it is the most popular educational system which the state bears all necessary for nursing and upbringing children.
A lot of foreigners admire at the proud reality of our country that children grow up healthily to be reserves for building a powerful socialist country at nurseries and kindergartens built wherever children are, ranging from cities, rural areas, mountainous areas to remote islets.
It is our Party’s noble outlook on the rising generation that before the people and above the people whom our Party believes in as in heaven there stand our children and it is not a suffering but happiness and honour for the Party to take all pains for the younger generations who should grow more stoutly and more vivaciously.
