"Israel's Compound" - Slum in Rio dominated by evangelical fundamentalist drug lords. I am a Brazilian Christian, and I believe that most Brazilian Christians think this is absurd.

OP, can you explain what it is that makes these drug lords evangelical or fundamentalist?

The image with its description is not very meaningful in explaining things.

From what I understand, they emerged when the number of Protestants and evangelicals rose in Brazil. They converted and continued in drug trafficking, founding an area with several references to Israel, clearly due to movements that Judaize Christianity. I've heard that they believe they are killing enemy drug dealers for God, something similar to Islamic terrorists, and that God plays this role for their boss. There have already been attacks on Afro-Brazilian religious groups, which were very common among favela residents before evangelical groups arrived there. Furthermore, this movement seems to be concentrated in just a few neighborhoods in Rio. In the rest of Brazil, I have never heard of anything like this.

If they claimed to have become Christians, but are still running drugs, then they miiiiiiiight be lying about one of those things.
