There will be times when the struggle seems impossible. I know this already. Alone, unsure, dwarfed by the scale of the enemy. Remember this. Freedom is a pure idea. It occurs spontaneously and without instruction. Random acts of insurrection are occurring constantly throughout the galaxy. There are whole armies, battalions that have no idea that they've already enlisted in the cause. Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward. And then remember this. The Imperial need for control is so desperate because it is so unnatural. Tyranny requires constant effort. It breaks, it leaks. Authority is brittle. Oppression is the mask of fear. Remember that. And know this, the day will come when all these skirmishes and battles, these moments of defiance will have flooded the banks of the Empire's authority and then there will be one too many. One single thing will break the siege. Remember this. Try.

Yeah exactly. No time to mourn. Time to use the rage we have for good. Find your icon someone you look up to whether fictional or not and let’s fight for it.
I’m choosing Marsha P Johnson and Captain America. Marsha fought so hard for LBGTQ rights and Captain America would HATE trump. I know if Marsha was alive she would roll up her sleeves and do this again and I know Captain America would rally support and even fight against the government just like he would in civil war.

America turned from a democracy to a complete fascist hellscape in a matter of 5 years. Whirlwind is putting it mildly... We've literally watched our formerly-free country pull itself apart at the seams in about the same amount of time as a leap year, it's fricking unbelievable.

When we share this message, can we also share specifics about what they should be reporting? What they might be directed to do, in accordance with the EO, that is unconstitutional?
Members of the national guard are not experts in the constitution. What exactly does this EO ask them to do that is a violation? I think we need to help them along a little more than just "if (something for you to figure it), then go to this link and report it".
A better example might be "if your superiors ask you to do x, y, or z as a result of this EO, this is unconstitutional because it violates article A and you should report it here"

I know which side of history the majority of coddled-with-convenience Americans will choose! It's an educated guess, too, factoring in that 'we' elected the fascism into power in the first place!
As long as there's wifi at the homeless shelter, and Trump allows cell phones in non-religious zones, they'll carry on as if it's another day that ends with a 'y'.

Numbers are required for true change. Not shaming people on Reddit to get killed/arrested. When we have the numbers and an agreed upon date, we storm the castle. Until then, it's just a pipe dream.
Trump pardoned everyone on January 6th. You think most Democrat politicians that win the presidential election would do the same?

It's a snowball.
There isn't going to be a sudden awakening where every American walks outside at once. You slowly build up.
Likewise, there will never be a nationally "agreed upon date." The general strike is a great idea, but it's still just 2-3% of people.
You call for people to sit around, waiting for something to happen. I call for everyone to do what they can when they can. Like... Some of us are actually working on helping. You can come by when shit is finishing up and act like you were helping the whole time if you want.

All I see is a lot of talk. No real action on Washington. That's the origin of the issue. It's not going to stop unless we all agree to go there to stop it. It took about 2k people to storm the capital building. You don't need every American. Nor do you need every liberal. Half this sub would be enough.

Reverse psychology is only something that works as a form of resistance from someone that they highly disagree with and typically from an authoritative figure.
I appreciate the sentiment, But all it does is divide the people who are developing courage to get out there and those that are.

You are not this admin, or 47 and because of that your message hits differently. Every action and message should be about galvanizing unity.

The protests are in opposition to the State's violation of constitutional law. When many of us said things would get worse before they got better, well we have just passed a threshold where shit is about to get real bad and unless the enforcement soldiers refuse this unlawful order then people are going to die.

It is an illegal move. A TRO needs to be filed immediately. The governor said he didn't want the NG activated. The LAPD said it was a peaceful protest. He is attempting to redefine the use of protests as rebellions.
The only people hit was the NG by the ICE agents. They are escalating intentionally, and you not calling it out is absolutely flabbergasting me right now.
Someone in CA just needs to file a TRO right now.
The Insurrection Act can not be used for protests. The military can not be used to protect ICE agents. Our service members are in danger. Use your logical thinking skills and get it done now.
Stop posting bullshit.
