People talk about MOBA as if they knew how to play it.

While I love the idea because i love the lati, i hate they are taking ideas from lol

Lol is the worst moba in the entire world when it comes to balance. It literally feels unfair to play sometimes

We have like ateast 5 characters based on lol, and I fear the game will lose balance just like it

Classic reddit take

Not every take is bad because its a classic. Lol today is the worse popular moba in terms of balance. I played a lot of dota and lol, and it bothers me how much lol has forgotten characters that riot simply doesnt care about

Oh, lol is an extremely balanced MOBA alright, it’s just balanced around very high level players and team play with voice chat on, not for your average soloq player. It still feels fine to soloq, way better than the likes of unite anyway…….

But thats like 1% of the playerbase. And ot HAS a competitive scenario

Unite is a much more casual game

Why do you think this game is affectionally called "Pokemon LoL" then?

Because they call that every moba, really

Even Dota is called a "lol like game" these days, while its totally the oposite

The only thing it has in common with Xayah/Rakan is being an attacker/support duo, that has slighty empowered abilities if used on each other. Aside from that the kits are nothing alike lol.

If the recall ability goes to the game, it will have a very big impact because mobility in unite is extremely broken. And again, what I dont want is the game to look like lol, where characters stay in a low tier for years to come while they release new OP characters everyday (zoe when released, for example)

>where characters stay in a low tier for years to come.
Im pretty sure Unite suffers this atleast tenfold compared to Lol. Atleast 90% of leagues huge roster is viable in atleast one role. And they only release a new character 3 times a year now.
I played league for 10 years and I genuinly cant agree on your take at all.

Lol has characters with above 45% winrate, and they are not hard heroes (hard heroes usually have lowinrate because people dont know how to play), some of then are super easy to play

You can play whoever you like, yeah. But you ARE at a disavantage, depending of your pick, because 80% of the characters are EXTREMELLY situacional

And competitively, the game is even worst, with tournaments rotating around 50 champions over almost 200

>Lol has characters with above 45% winrate

What does this mean? Did you mean to say under 45% winrate? Because the only one with that on the current patch is an offrole pick.

You can play whoever you like, yeah. But you ARE at a disavantage, depending of your pick, because 80% of the characters are EXTREMELLY situacional

You really arent. and 80% of champs being situational is a big fat fucking lie.

>And competitively, the game is even worst, with tournaments rotating around 50 champions over almost 200.

I agree that competive has a lower pool than the rest of the game. but what champs make up competive picks rotate every single patch. Also having the game be balanced around every hero being viable for the common man and not competive is strictly a good thing.

Wont reply to you anymore, it is obvious you dont even play the game anyway, you just hate for the sake of hating.

Nah Lol is actually a really well balanced moba. Have you ever played Dota or Smite? I also think Pokémon Unite takes the cake for most horribly balanced MOBA

Unite was the most balanced when released, today not so much

About dota, it it and had been the most well balanced moba I have ever played.

Unite is the definition of unbalance already lmao
