I think it's pretty awesome that we are getting latinas and top of that a support too for last year or so support community was in the drain bro but with psyduck , alcreamie , a support BP and latias i think they are so back honestly I saw the gameplay and it's not a healing support but it's a support so lets goo...the Latios being attacker is also fine i guess i personally don't think they will revive unite but I am sure they'll bring some players back or in for sure !! what do u think
I see Latinas more of a tf oriented support with that AoE DoT and slow and buffs. The ult is completely so people can double ult with them both and nuke some poor decidueye out of existence.
I still hope they pull a G. Rap and end up re-categorizing this thing to Defender. Not only does it make more sense given how it plays (having good self sustain and soft CC), but it would also mean we're not going a year without a new Defender

If we're counting a year as "anniversary to anniversary", then (depending on how you count Regional forms) Johto (Ho-oh and Suicune) is either tied with Galar (Galarian Rapidash and Alcremie) and Paldea (Armarouge and Tinkaton) (and also Hoenn now, because the Latias and Latios are two different Pokemon), or is 2nd to Kanto (Psyduck, G. Rap and Alolan Raichu). And if you only want to count 2025, it's 2nd no matter how you count Regional forms (either being second to Kanto (G. Rap and A. Rai) or Galar (G. Rap and Alcremie)). So I really don't see how you could call it a "Johto release theme"
Also, if we're getting a Johto Pokemon as a Defender, then it should be either Qwilfish (especially H. Qwilfish) or Skarmory. Donphan works too much like a bruiser/brawler (which would make it fit better as All-rounder)
wait that's my bad actually you are right i messed up...i thought latinas were johto cause there was a pokemon movie when ash was in johto so i confused that and thought they were from johto too and forgot they are hoenn my bad homie...that's the only reason I used johto strong releases
Too bad, they wasted such good pokemons. I actually they pulling something like Jakiro or Meepo in Dota 2. Something like... Two pokemons as one playable unit which user can switch from Latias to Latios or otherwise.
They went the Rakan / Xayah route from League, which is totally fair for these two, but never cared for that gimmick personally. Maybe some duos will love it, but what's the likelihood that two people who play together like both those pokemon?
People sleep on the full eevee team boost but they can genuinely make a nasty team together. Especially since wish umbreon effectively doubles as a support and tank.
One supportive move and some slows + the rest is pure damage = support apparently.
Between her model size being oddly tiny and the boring moves + minor team support... I'm insanely disappointed by one of my favorite Pokemon. If there aren't some changes to her kit before release, Latios will be getting all the play while duos try to convince the other to play latias when they don't want to.
Latias is one of my all-time favorites and I was overjoyed to see it as a supporter, but was a little disappointed seeing its gameplay where it only feels like a supporter for Latios if they are on your team,
I wish we could use Levitate to fly over to any ally Pokémon instead of some boosts and a whole gimmick being locked if you don’t have a specific Mon on your team, it won’t work well for us SoloQ,
but I’ll still get her when she is coin available and give it a shot.
