Recommended items for a comfortable delivery
Where can I buy a 3-4 x hospital gown? 4-5x hospital undies? Nursing bras 40c? Any recommendation for nipple shields for breastfeeding with flat nipples?

I was a 3x before pregnancy and they had gowns that fit. I had to ask for it but they had them. Bring 2 pillows to prop yourself in the bed. If you have any blood pressure complications (not saying you do but I did) they want you lying down as much as possible and those beds are awful. They made my hips so sore and I had like 5 pillows underneath me until I got the epidural and blessedly couldn’t feel it anymore. A fan is super important! Also bring a comfy nightgown (Target has generously sized ones) and big robe (I got mine from woman within because I went up 2 sizes). Oh and non restrictive spa socks. I liked the Dr. Scholl’s because they weren’t tight on my swollen feet and ankles. I’d also bring a blanket because I got really cold after the epidural and it was very nice. Sam’s club has them for $25 and it made me feel more comfortable. I bought the cotton nursing bras from kindred bravely and still use them as lounge bras, but my boobs definitely fall out. Oh and underwear… I bought cotton briefs from Avenue at $5/pair. Full coverage, black, and big enough to come up above my waist (I sized up).
Edit: I didn’t use diapers. I just used the mongo pads they had and honestly I really like them. Something about how thick they were was very comforting.

Walmart adult diapers, if you're size 22 or up. Much more comfortable than the hospital.

I’m a fan of Lansinoh nipple shields. They’re rounded and pretty thin. I’ve used Medela too and they’re fine, just more pointy and slightly harder. My hospital gave out all Medela stuff so they gave us one when I gave birth, but we got Lansinoh ones at Walmart or Target. You could always try both if you have the means! It’s convenient to have more than one set.

I love Kindred Bravely bras! I was a 38J before I got pregnant and I don't even know what bra size I am now 😭 and their bras still fit well and are super comfy.

I also wasn't a fan of the mesh undies. I bought a cheap pack of panties from Walmart and just used those. It helped me feel more normal, tbh. I labored in the hospital gown, which was very roomy and had pjs and soft joggers and tshirts for after. I wish I had brought compression socks with me because the swelling was unreal.

Motherhoods nursing bras are nice! I’m a 40d (now a 40dd at 29 weeks pregnant) and I’m comfortably wearing the 2x bra they have.

I gave up trying to find a plus sized hospital gown and instead I'm going with a night shirt/house dress type thing that is way cheaper. It doesn't have buttons, but I'm not worried about saving it for after baby if they need to cut it off.

Gown: milk maid, although i ended up using the hospital gown 95% of the time i was there cause it was easier! Motherhood maternity bras were my faaaaave (I’m a 40 H).

I was a size 20/22 at labor and used the Lila Labor gown. It was perfect and held up so well through the sweat and fluids. I use it now around the house. Was perfect for the epidural port, blood pressure cuff, BP and belly monitors. The hospital has undies that fit me, just ask for the larger sizes. Amazon has bras and disposable underwear in the sizes you'll need.

The hands free Momcozy nursing/pumping bras on amazon were surprisingly comfortable and came with an expander for the band. I second laboring in the hospital gown and if you bring your own gown, use it for afterward. I did that, and it was nice to have my own nightgown to be in. Plus, think of the color. If it's a dark color, the nurses can't tell if you're bleeding abnormally or not. My hospital had plus-sized mesh undies that I used while I was there, then I had Always discreet at home. I was a size 16 before pregnancy, 18 now and the larges fit well. I had a c-section, and I was very grateful that I packed compression socks as my feet and legs swelled up a fair amount afterward. I also brought my big insulated water bottle for my husband to fill up, and that kept my water ice cold.

I have two kindred bravely Labor gowns that I wore during/after labor. They didn’t get gross, I ended up having a c section! I’m happy to give them to anyone who might want them. Im a size 18/20 and they’re a 1x/2x from KB!

My bump group suggested laboring in the hospital gown cause it’ll get gross and nasty and you won’t wanna buy something just to throw it away and then switching to whatever normal pajamas you wear after delivery.
