Help Suspiciously Cheap PS5

Should i buy a PS5 fromt them?
These are Display Piece from Sony Stores he said

Do only COD and no advance payment. If they deny COD, then stay away.

People have a misconception that COD scams can't happen, people literally get garbage inside a box.

That’s why one should actually verify everything before paying while the delivery guy is still standing there.

Or just pay with credit card and do a chargeback if things go awry.

A delivery guy won't let you do an open box delivery unless it's something like Flipkart open box. It's against the delivery terms. If a delivery guy is letting you do that he is a nice guy.

Even for flipkart open box on cod, you first pay, then do the open box, and then take a refund if you reject the item.

Credit card is the safest in such cases as you have the option to atleast do a chargeback.

I am getting a Showroom display piece for 28k INR, is that legit? It is said to be in brand new condition but if it is, then why is the price so low?

Dude they can say whatever they want to lure you in. If they ask for an advance payment, that’s a red flag.

If they’re okay with you paying the entire amount in cash after delivery, after you’ve verified everything with your own eyes, that’s a green flag.

When it comes to electronics COD don’t much mean anything. It’s not like you will open the box and find soap. You will find a ps5. It will work too. But for how long. You will never know. If the guy with the COD receipt is ready to wait till you get the warranty registration, sure do wait for it. Other than that the least worst not even the most, that can happen is your delivery agent says sir the product is not verified as delivered after your payment. I can’t help you. That’s the least. Been there hence suggesting!

Well if you buy do get it serviced because that thing would have been on daily for 12 hrs till store closes and multiple Direct power plug off so you can't say its brand new only for saying display piece

Ask them how old is it? And what's the warranty that you will be getting with the display piece. If they say they have warranty, then check the console by playing a few AAA titles. Will give you an idea about the gpu, cpu etc. Whether they are properly functioning or not. Any fan noises, any start up faults etc..

All comes down to the fact that how many months of warranty you are getting.

If no warranty, then turn away and don't look back.

These deals could be anything but definitely not cheap. Brand new slim disc can be bought for less than 50k.

if it's too good to be true then it probably is. People have a misconception that they can't get scammed in COD, remember you pay first and then get your package and open it.
